G-REX driver for Voodoo 4-4500 finished

Thomas Dellert von DCE spricht über G-REX PCI

Ursprünglich ist die G-Rex eine alte Entwicklung von Phase5 gewesen, die seit ca. 2 Jahren in Mariaks Amiga als PCI-Adapter läuft. Er wurde speziell für die Phase5 PPC-Karten entwickelt. Die Voodoo3 funktioniert bereits zu 100%. Der deutsche Vertrieb Vesalia wurde von Elbox gezwungen, alle G-Rex Details ihrer Website unverzüglich zu entfernen, da Elbox sonst keine Produktunterstützung mehr zuteilen würde. DCE setzt deshalb folglich alle Details zur Karte (Fotos, Preise, Lieferfrist etc.) auf die eigene Homepage, die vorraussichtlich am Donnerstag eingefügt werden. Bezüglich der Treiber-Entwicklung: DCE bezahlte einem 3rd Party-Developer (Frank Mariak) für seine Arbeit, um die Treiber fertigzustellen. Elbox hatte die Möglichkeit, dasselbe zu erhalten. Sie müssten nur selbstverständlich etwas Geld investieren.
